Students have been working for several days on writing their persuasive advertisements for Social Studies class. This writing prompt has students imagining that they are living in the 1600s, in a country that has started a colony in North America and their job is to persuade settlers to come to the new colony. Students have been using facts from their readings in Social Studies to write an organized advertisement. I am proud of how hard they are working to finish this assignment.
