Crayon Resist and Poetry

Students created a watercolor and crayon resist leaf and then wrote a poem from the perspective of their leaf. Students worked diligently to write, type, peer share, and edit their poems. The final step was choosing a background and mounting their artwork and poem. 

STEM Challenge

Students modified their catapults last week for the final marshmallow test.  In small groups, students worked together to determine how to change their catapults to help them launch further.  The winning catapult launched their marshmallow 16 1/2 feet!  Ask your child about their catapult design!
